Duke University in North Carolina, USA is hosting the fully funded Youth Interfaith Leaders Fellowship 2025, a week-long program. Faith For Our Planet, in collaboration with Duke University, is seeking the Next Generation of climate leaders who are motivated by their faith. It’s for you if you are the one; apply right away. Leaders from all across the world are welcome to apply for the third cycle. The program will take place in 2025 from May 24 to May 30. The participant’s airfare, visa costs, lodging, and food expenses will all be covered by Faith For Our Planet (FFOP). Additional costs are not paid for.

A program offering information and skills to successfully address climate change will provide 25 youths the opportunity to enroll. Experts in media, community service, interfaith and cross-cultural interactions, climate change, and religious studies will instruct the Youth Interfaith Leaders Fellows. About the Youth Interfaith Leaders Fellowship

The Fellowship is a Fully funded, week-long residential program at Duke University. It offers an opportunity for the climate leaders.

Through expert lectures, discussions, sessions, and dialogues, fellows will learn more about the strategy to develop faith-based climate action projects for their respective communities.

Faith leaders, students of eco-theology, environmentalists, community activists, and early career professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Financial Benefits

Eligibility Criteria

  • The age of the applicant is between 20 to 35 (required)
  • Have education, volunteer, and/or work experience relevant to the themes of the fellowship (environment, religion, community leadership, etc.)
  • Have access to a local network (social, professional, religious, etc.) or a willingness to mobilize accessible local networks
  • Have a command of the English language.
  • Provide reference letters after the selection.

Reference Letters From Shortlisted Applicants

All shortlisted applicants for an interview are required to provide one letter of recommendation from their workplace or educational institution which must be received within 7 days.
