The Youth Innovation Challenge 2025 is a fully funded program in Taiwan, inviting global applicants to propose innovative solutions for marine conservation. Selected participants will be invited to Taipei in October 2025, with all travel, meals, and accommodation expenses covered. This initiative is a collaboration between the Global Environmental Education Partnership (GEEP), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Taiwan Ministry of Environment, the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE), and the Taiwan Ocean Conservation Administration (OCA).

Objective of the Program

The program aims to invite people from around the world to propose solutions to address marine issues, including conservation, biodiversity, and marine debris. Solutions can incorporate a variety of approaches, but must include environmental education. Solutions must be innovative, feasible, and informed by research.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Open to all Nationals.
  • Eligibility: Young leaders and innovators aged 15-30.
  • No IELTS.
  • No Application Fees.

Timeline

  • July-August 2025: Applications reviewed.
  • September 2025: Finalists and winners notified.
  • October 2025: Winners attend the award ceremony in Taiwan.
