UNICEF is offering a paid internship opportunity in Japan for 2025, with applications currently being accepted. Duties of the Intern

Under the Public Partnership Specialist’s guidance, the intern will support:

  • Gathering and organizing information for key counterparts and media.
  • Update and improve the Tokyo office’s website and social media.
  • Assist Team in Translation of UNICEF materials, and messages.
  • Assist in planning and executing office events, consultations, and workshops.
  • Other assigned tasks by supervisor.

Eligibility Criteria

The Internship is open to:

  • Currently enrolled or recent graduate (within 2 years) from a university or graduate school.
  • Interns will work for a minimum of 4 days/week for 3-6 months.
  • Passion for UNICEF’s work in child rights, protection, education, health, nutrition, water/sanitation, gender, etc.
  • Fluent in English and Japanese (written and spoken).
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
