The POSCO TJ Park Foundation is offering scholarships for Asian students to study for master’s and doctoral degrees in South Korea through the 2025 POSCO Asia Fellowship Scholarship. Only STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) are eligible to apply for the POSCO Scholarship. Only Asian citizens are eligible to apply for this scholarship. In South Korea, there are nine prestigious universities connected to the POSCO fellowship. Up to three universities will accept your application.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must plan to pursue a degree in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
  • Applicant must be an Asian Citizen.
  • Applicant must start a course in the Spring or Fall semester of 2025
  • Those who have earned a bachelor’s degree are eligible.
  • Applicant must apply to an eligible university (listed below).

English Language Requirements

An applicant must also meet any ONE of the following English Language requirements:

  • TOEFL: 550
  • IELTS: 6.0
  • TOEIC: 750
  • New TEPS: 327

Note: Applicants who have graduated from a university in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States, or the United Kingdom are exempted from the English Proficiency Test.

It is also said by the POSCO that the applicants can select up to three universities listed below, which are in alphabetical order and do not denote any ranking or preference.
