The goal of the KAUST Global Fellowship program is to draw and assist exceptional scientists, young leaders, and early-career researchers from around the world. Applicants who wish to develop their career path toward full independence are eligible for this fellowship. Postdocs can apply for this three-year fellowship program. In addition to $40,000 in financing, fellows will get a $75,000 annual salary, medical coverage, housing and schools for two children, relocation expenses, and an annual travel allowance. Applicant Eligibility Criteria

  • People of all nationalities are welcome to apply.
  • There is no age restriction.
  • You must have earned a Ph.D. after January 2020.
  • You must finish your Ph.D. before starting the fellowship.
  • You must be ready to move to KAUST for your three-year research project.
  • You need to find a KAUST professor who agrees to host you and your research project.

  • Your research must focus on one or more of these areas: Health & Wellness, Sustainable Environment & Essential Needs, Energy and Industrial Leadership, or Economies of the Future.
  • Your research plan should cover three years.
  • You must follow the budget rules given in the application.
