The ICYF International Media Training Camp in Turkey in 2024 is now accepting applications. This announcement is made proudly by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) in collaboration with TRT (Turkey). This is a six-day camp for young men and women in Turkey. Young people from all over the world will go to Istanbul to obtain journalism-related experience. You are not required to submit an English Language Test for ICYF Camp.

The ICYF International Media Training Camp dates are Different for Young Men and Young Women. From 16-21 September 2024 for Young Men and from 23-28 September 2024 for Young Women. Muslim Youth Living in Istanbul, and Muslim Youth from 56 OIC Member states, and Muslim Minorities from Non-OIC Member States can apply. The Camp will cover the cost of the program. Aim of the ICYF Camp

The aim of the ICYF International Media Training Camp is to empower the young generation on the journey of digital storytelling and news reporting in the information age using daily tools.

• Location of Camp: Alaaddin Keykubat Gençlik Kampı Antalya -Republic of Türkiye
• Dates:
  • 16-21 September for Young Men
  • 23 – 28 September for Young Women 

Benefits of the ICYF Camp

• International Travel: The ICYF will cover international flight tickets of the participants up to 150 USD.
• Local Transportation: The Host Organizers will cover only local transportation expenses such as Airport Transfer, Bus transport to/from Camp Location.
• Visa Support: The Invitation Letter will be provided for Visa Support. Visa Cost is not Cover.
• Medical: Medical & Travel insurance will be covered.
• Accommodation, Local Tour & Further Cost: Host organizers will cover domestic transportation, accommodation, food, and other relevant costs related to local hospitality.

Eligibility Criteria

• There are No Academic Requirements. Open to Young Undergraduates, Graduates.
• Muslim Youth living in Istanbul who are from the 56 OIC Member States.
• Muslim Youth from the OIC Member States and Muslim Minorities from the Non-OIC Member States are also eligible.
•  Ability to communicate in English
•  Aged between 18–25
•  Eager to learn media issues and topics
• Can be from any field.
