The 2025 Global Korea Scholarship is now accepting applications for undergraduate degrees. The South Korean government fully funds the GKS Korean Government Undergraduate Scholarship 2025. IELTS is not necessary to be eligible for this grant. The total number of scholarships awarded has been raised to 367 this year. Through the University Track, which offers 280 scholarships for international students, and the Embassy Track, which offers 87 scholarships. You must apply for the embassy track through the Korean Embassy in the country in which you now reside. If you choose the university route, you can apply directly to any of the listed universities. GKS Undergraduate Scholarship Benefits

The GKS is a Fully Funded Scholarship in South Korea by the Korean government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Korea which makes it the largest-ever scholarship program by the Korean Government.

Duration of Program

  • Associate Degree: 1 year of the Korean language program, 2~3 years of the degree program
  • Undergraduate Degree: 1 year of the Korean language program, 4~6 years of the degree program

Eligibility Criteria for the GKS Undergraduate Scholarship 2025

  • Citizens of all countries can apply except Korean citizens.
  • Applicants who have a bachelor‟s degree cannot apply.
  • Applicants who have associate degrees can only apply to a bachelor’s program.
  • CGPA should be above 2.64 out of 4, 2.80 out of 4.3, 2.91 out of 4.5, or 3.23 out of 5.0
  • The score percentile must be 80 percent or above.
  • Should be under the age of 25 years.
  • Must be in good health
  • No criminal record.

Applicants who are expected to graduate must first submit a certificate of expected graduation at the time of application.
