The Humboldt Research Fellowship in Germany is now accepting applications. For a period of six to twenty-four months, the research fellowship is completely funded. The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation offers a distinguished program called the Humboldt Research Fellowship. With the help of a host at a German research institution of your choosing, it helps you with your research in Germany. The Humboldt Fellowship is available to people worldwide, with the exception of Germany and Brazil. Every year, about 700 Humboldt Research Fellowships are given out. The researchers get a fantastic opportunity to carry out their research at prestigious German universities under the direction and supervision of top-tier German faculty members. A monthly stipend, a mentor, health insurance, round-trip airfare, a family allowance, and funds for living expenses will all be provided to the fellows. Types of Humboldt Research Fellowship

  • For Postdoctoral Researchers: This program is designed for researchers who have completed their PhDs within the last four years. Fellows can conduct research in Germany for 6 to 24 months.
  • For Experienced Researchers: This program is open to researchers who are further along in their careers. Fellowships can last from 6 to 18 months and can be divided into up to three stays within three years.
