In Germany, the minimum wage is 12.00 euros gross per hour (as of May 2023). With a part-time job (20 hours per week), you can earn above 1000 euros per month. Once you have received a Full-time Job offer your net income will rise.
Professional experience is necessary in your related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Proof of Professional experience can usually be provided by a letter from your current or former employer.
If you have previously stayed in Germany for more than six months in the last five years can increase your chances of getting an Opportunity Card. Note that it does not include tourist stays.
You can prove your stay in Germany through Employment or rental contracts.
If your spouse is also interested in the opportunity card, you both can receive additional points together. You can prove your relationship through a Marriage Certificate. Your spouse should also meet the basic requirements of the Opportunity Card.
