Applications are now open for the KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship for the 2025/26 academic year. This fully funded scholarship is available to international students seeking to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs at Indonesian universities. There is no application fee, and successful applicants will be awarded a fully funded scholarship. The KNB Scholarship is supported by the Indonesian government and involves 34 participating universities along with 1,008 degree programs across various fields. In 2024, the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology granted 222 scholarships. KNB Scholarship 2025 Requirements

  • The KNB Scholarship is open to the Citizens of the Developing Countries.
  • High School degree required. Bachelor’s degree holders are ineligible for bachelor scholarships.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master degree holders are ineligible for Masters scholarships.
  • PhD degree required. PhD holders are ineligible for PhD scholarships.
  • The maximum age is 21 years for a bachelor’s scholarship.
  • The maximum age is 35 years for a master’s scholarship.
  • The maximum age is 40 years for PhD scholarship.
  • IELTS is not required from English Native Speakers or those who have completed education at an English Speaking University.

How to Apply for the KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship 2025/26?

The KNB Scholarship Application Process:

  • Download the KNB Scholarship Offering Letter.
  • Applicants contact the Indonesian Representative in their origin country (from the Embassy or Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia only) and submit all administrative and academic documents required to obtain a recommendation letter.
  • Register online via the KNB Scholarship website after receiving the embassy/consulate recommendation letter.
  • Scan all documents as .jpeg or .jpg files (max 300kb each).
  • One applicant per account.
