A network of upcoming leaders from Asia and the US is being formed by the Asia Foundation LeadNext Program in San Francisco to tackle the most pressing issues of the day. This new program focusses on 21st-century global citizenship issues like strengthening communities, decreasing violence, and addressing climate disasters. It is imperative that a new generation of globally-minded leaders take charge given the impending changes in geopolitics, global governance, the economy, and society. Components of Asia Foundation LeadNext Program

• Leadership Training Intensive: (February and March 2025)
• Monthly Virtual Masterclasses: (March to June 2025)
• Travel to San Francisco, USA (Week of July 14, 2025): Fellows will Travel to the United States for the Global Leaders Summit. The Location is the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Mentorship: Fellows are paired with experienced mentors for further development.

Eligibility Criteria

• The Fellowship is open to emerging leaders from any sector with a strong commitment and creative approaches to address issues such as climate change, inequality, injustice, poverty, or other pressing issues.
• 18-25 years old throughout the program year.
• Fluency in English.
• 10 Asians + 10 Americans will participate.
• Attendance at all sessions is mandatory.
