The World Water Challenge 2025, hosted by the Korea Water Forum and sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Environment, is seeking innovative water solutions from individuals worldwide. There is no application fee. Successful applicants will be invited to Daegu, Korea, for Korea International Water Week (KIWW) in November 2025 (November 13-14). Up to 10 selected solutions will receive return airfare, accommodation, and monetary awards. The challenge aims to discover effective solutions to water-related issues. What is the World Water Challenge?

Objectives of the Program

The World Water Challenge 2025 is looking for new ideas (developed in the last 10 years) that solve water problems and help achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Priority will be given to one of the following areas.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Anyone from any country can apply.
  • Open to anyone interested in solving water-related problems.
  • Your ideas must have been created within the last 10 years.
  • No IELTS or TOEFL required.
