The Global Cultural Relations Program (GCRP) in Marrakech, Morocco, is accepting applications through March 31, 2024. It is an EU-initiated program that is fully funded. Young cultural workers from all across the world are connected through the Global Cultural Relations Program. The Culture Relations Platform oversees this initiative. The GCRP was held in Spain the previous year. From November 25–28, 2024, in Morocco, about 40 professionals from around the world will participate in the Global Cultural Relations Program (GCRP) 2024.

It is a special chance that brings professionals from all over the world together to talk about cross-cultural cooperation and build important contacts. The IELTS is not necessary. Application fees are NOT required. Professionals in the creative and cultural industries OR those involved in the development of safer communities are eligible to apply for the 2024 edition of GCRP. Eligible Countries

The Global Cultural Relations Programme (GCRP) is open to participants from all over the
world, so all nationalities are eligible to participate. The majority of the participants will come from non-EU countries.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Those who are working in the areas of cultural and creative sectors OR in creating safer societies.
  • You should be aged 25-39, with at least three years of experience in international and cross-cultural collaboration.
  • You could work for a public, private, or civil society organization, or be a freelancer.
  • Be able to join the entire program.

Timeline

  • Mid to late August: Selected participants are informed via email
  • October: Announcement of Participants
  • Sunday 24 November: Participants arrive in Marrakech
  • Monday 25 November – Thursday 28 November: Four full days of programming
  • Friday 29 November: Participants departure from Marrakech

Note: If participants want to stay in Morocco after the conference, they will be responsible for covering their expenses.
